What we focus on
After desk work, training, flights or prolonged tension.
A back massage at HOLO looks beyond the exact spot that hurts. Depending on load, breathing and posture, the session may include the thoracic area, shoulder blades, shoulders and lower back.
- back fatigue after a workday or long journey
- tension between the shoulder blades and around the thoracic area
- muscular overload after unfamiliar physical activity
Massage does not replace diagnosis or treatment. Acute pain, fever, numbness, weakness or recent injury require medical assessment first.
After the session
Easy walking, changing position and a gradual return to normal activity are often useful. Your advice will depend on how your body responds.
Common questions
Can the session focus only on my back?
Yes. A 30- or 60-minute session can focus on the back; if areas are connected, the therapist may suggest including the shoulders, pelvis or neck.
Will one session resolve back pain?
It may reduce perceived tension, but results cannot be promised in advance. Recurrent or acute pain may require medical assessment.
